While we may highlight these positions here, we all have a role that we serve in at the church and the church would not function properly without the involvement of many, many people.

Kevin Plain

PASTOR

Pastor Kevin is the founding and Lead Pastor of Citizens Church. Kevin and his wife Kristin moved to Branson in 2016 answering the call to plant a church in Branson. Prior to that, Kevin answered the call to preach at the age of sixteen and is passionate about evangelism and building a strong community of believers and seeing the Lost saved. Kevin completed his pastoral education at Nazarene Bible College and has been ordained since June of 2016. His wife Kristin is a Registered Nurse who completed her education at OTC and WGU. She currently works as the Branson Heart Center, and her passion is for missions and outreach.

Mackenzie Karlson

 CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LEADER 
 

Mackenzie was recently married to her high School sweetheart Jake. Mackie answered the call to ministry at a young age, after seeing her father serve as a youth pastor and plant the Nixa Organic Church (NOC.) Mackie is currently attending Drury to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After completing her Bachelor’s degree she plans to attend graduate school for chiropractic care. Mackie is passionate about teaching children about Jesus and to live a Christian life. Her Husband, Jake is currently finishing his last semester at College of the Ozarks and will have his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and pursuing his CPA.

Cristin Martinez

 WORSHIP LEADER 
 
Cristin has been with Citizens Church since the beginning. She came to the church in only a way that God could ordain. Cristin and her husband met in Puerto Rico, and moved to the Branson area to attend college. Her Husband Fernan is our drummer, and three kids all love Citizens Kids. She graduated college at College of the Ozarks with her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and her Masters in Counseling from Missouri State University. She loves music, and leading the congregation into a passionate and deep time of worship.
